Early Mornings

Okay I admit it - I like getting to the office early. That's right, go ahead and laugh.

I complain about my coworkers but I get to work early. Har Har Har....you done?

Well, if your like me you like to get to work early but not to get work done. HA! Now THATS funny. I like getting to work early and making some coffee and being able to have the first few cups. How much is too much again?

Nonetheless I like the silence. I like to pop in a CD and turn it up and print out any reports for the "daily grind" and answer some emails from family.

Its nice. Its quiet.

Then once I'm actually enjoying this place...my coworkers come in.

Now, I don't mind them. They're people. Its the attitude that they have and it could be my perspective of where I feel they're ruining my nice peaceful morning.

No, that can't be it *laughs*

Seriously though do you have coworkers who come in the morning and instantly tell you how tired they are, what they watched last night, or even worse complain about the morning commute?

I'm all for conversation and building relationships in the work place but the last thing I want to hear first thing in the morning is something bad. Tell me something good. I want GOOD news.

I hear bad news all day - "new projects" and "new reports"

Anything "new" in it usually takes away from my usual duties and responsibilities and then I'm backlogged.

I digress.

I have only a few more minutes before they come so I need to finish this cup of coffee and get another cup before the break room is demolished by half-awake zombies.
